Saturday 1pm-5pm / Sunday 10am-5pm

The below will give you an approximate guide to how the course will run...

Dear Participant(s),

 
This is a pre welcome to our 2023 Summer Course, welcome!…
 
Please take note that our end of year and advanced training and grading course will be at The Ashcombe School in Dorking.
 
The course will push all participants physically and mentally, you will be journeying the right of passage so it is important that you come prepared. Please arrive early before start time, take note of information below and be ready for a rewarding, esteem building and alliance weekend.
 
Schedule;
Both days will include fitness training so bring suitable outdoor active clothing, you will be given time to change into usual training uniform / belt discipline when you change to training inside. Please keep an eye on the weather forecast: suncream, change of clothes etc.
 
Saturday 8th July- Ashcombe School, Dorking
1:00pm Welcome Introduction (anyone late after this time will not be allowed to join the course)
-Training / Grading assesments
-Break (time for quick snack)
-Training / Grading assesments
5:00pm Finish
 
Sunday 9th July - Ashcombe School, Dorking
9:45am Meet outside front doors
Day Briefing
10:00am Course Run starts promptly (anyone late will not join the course)
-Please arrive in your running gear then change into KBK uniform after the course run 
12:00pm Lunch
12:30pm Training / Grading
5.00pm Finish
 
Kits list (what to bring);

 

-Active gear for fitness sessions

-Non marking indoor training shoes or you must go bare feet (not a fully matted training area)

-Suitable outdoor shoes and clothing for all weather 

-Running gear/shoes (Sunday morning)

-Martial Arts uniform for all grading aspects (Must be worn Sunday).

-Drinking Water (Plenty of it)

-Light Snacks (Saturday)

-Lunch & Snacks (Sunday)

-Change of clothes -Full kit bag (i.e full set of pads, mouthguard etc) -Licence Book (should you not have already been handed in) -Plenty of Energy and excitement for the course :o) 

& Most important of all the true spirit of a Martial Artist 

 

*We do not cater for spectators so students should be left in our capable hands for the weekend. We welcome support especially at the end on Sunday but no photos or filming during the training please.
