Rookie divisions

All Rookie divisions you will have 2 lives! If you win all the way through then you are the winner. If you lose a fight please do run away from the area as you will have a second life and a second chance to win your division. Lose twice in the same division and your out of your section. (Intermediate and advanced sections will have 2 rounds not 2 lives, so if you lose your fight then you are out of the draw)

Supporting the team

We are a team so make sure you show your support for all of our fighters involved. Some of the new fighters will be nervous and would welcome us getting behind them and giving them some encouragement.

Coaches

It's important to state that I (Sean) will be running the event so we have a coaching team in place to look after all of our fighters these are: Kelly McCarthy, Ellie Jackman, Ellie Milner, Charlotte Smith, Jack Watkins & Jamie Yates. -These guys are the offical coaches but if you see anyone in need then please work as a team to support one another. Diana Eng (Liliah's Mum) is going to be our team facilitator she can be a point of call to help you all know when you are up and what you need etc. Any tournament related questions or equipment needed should be directed to these guys. If you are waiting on equipment then you will need to sort this as soon as you arrive at the venue with one of the coaches.

We have a total of 150 entries from our team so it's going to be a busy day for our club. Please read the divisions your entered into and make a note of your section number. There can be no changes as your section is now locked in you will need to make sure you are under the weight division you have been entered in (the scales on the day will have a 0.5kg allowance). If you don't make weight on the day you can't fight.

For the new fighters- Please make sure you have club uniform / t-shirt & trousers on the day (no shorts) also you will need to make sure you have all the tournament equipment (you will be disqualified if you do not have it all).

Spectators is £15.00 on the day and can be purchased on the door. 

GB Grand Slam is a pre-registration ONLY event.If you have not registered DO NOT turn up on the day to compete. Of course spectators welcome and can pay on the day. 

When you arrive at the event...

We will all sit together I will post a picture in the WhatsApp group where we will all be sitting. Let one of our coaches / Dianna Eng know you are here. Then head immediately to weigh in unless you have weight checked on a previous day.

For entry to the event & weight checks you will need this QR Code. They will scan the code and you step on the scales to confirm your weight.

The below is notes I have made so there may be errors in the times and areas so you will need to cross check all these and let me know if something is not right. Beacuse I am running the event you guys have to be self sufficient in getting to area on time with all the correct gear. If you are unsure message me now or contact one of the coaches on the day.
